DESCRIPTION ☞
Original 1950s advertising sign for Cavalier Clothes, a Canadian menswear brand known for its sharp tailoring and classic style. This bold, eye-catching display was distributed by Kays Limited of Winnipeg and features a sharply dressed man in a grey overcoat, yellow gloves, and fedora — the epitome of mid-century masculinity.

The vivid red and black background with strong yellow typography screams atomic-era design. Printed on thick, pressed board with an easel back, it would have been used as a countertop or window display in a men's clothing store to promote “Real Winter Comfort.”

This sign is a rare survivor and a true piece of Canadian retail history — perfect for collectors of vintage advertising, menswear memorabilia, or mid-century design. Displays beautifully and is sure to spark conversation.

CONDITION ☞
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Minor surface scratches and edge wear, mostly at the corners. Back easel is intact and functional. No major creases or tears.
