ABOUT US ☞ Front Street Antiques is located in downtown historic Kaslo, British Columbia, Canada. We are a husband and wife team on the hunt for interesting items that inspire nostalgia and strike curiosity.

We are lifetime antique enthusiasts and we do our very best to describe any imperfections and quirks, as well as provide a general background on the item; however, we are not yet experts on every kind of item in our store.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY ☞ Your purchase will be carefully packaged and shipped within 3 business days of sale (often sooner but dependent on our local weather and rural post office hours.) We combine shipping on multiple items -- please send us a message prior to purchase to give us a heads up & we will be happy to get you a shipping quote (add +1 business day for shipping) or we can refund the difference upon shipping if you don't want to wait for a quote!

Some of our more expensive or historically valuable items MUST be shipped with tracking, insurance and delivery confirmation -- no exceptions! Shipping cost on these items will be calculated by Canada Post.
We take great care in packaging your item to ensure it gets to you in on time and to your expectations. We use mostly recycled material (boxes, paper and bubblewrap) to do our part for the environment -- this comes with the added benefit of disguising the contents of your parcel.

If your purchase contains multiple pieces, please be sure to check the entire box and packaging upon receiving your parcel, since we bubblewrap pieces individually to prevent damage in transit. We document all shipments before they leave our store with photos, so if a parcel comes to you open/damaged/missing items, please get a hold of us immediately so we can start an insurance claim for you with the post office.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current pandemic situation, many postal carriers are no longer honoring their guaranteed delivery date. We will do our very best to get your item to you as soon as possible but once we drop it off at the post office, the delivery times and any delays due to weather, border processing, customs or otherwise are out of our hands.

RETURNS & REFUNDS ☞ Please see our refund policy below. If your item has been delivered but the box arrives damaged, opened and/or your item has been damaged in transit or missing pieces, please be sure to take a picture of the parcel immediately upon receiving it and send us a message within 24 hours of delivery. -- WE ARE UNABLE PROCESS POST OFFICE INSURANCE CLAIMS WITHOUT PICTURES OF THE DAMAGED PARCEL and ITEM! --

OUR INVENTORY ☞ All our listings are for sale in our physical location as well as here online. These items are considered collectable, retro/vintage (25+ years) or antique (100+ years) and are rarely "brand new". The majority of our stock comes from auctions and private collections or estates. Items for sale may display some age related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture. Photos are included as part of the description. Due to the age and nature of our stock, all items are sold "as is" and final sale upon delivery confirmation.

A Note to International buyers -- standard shipping offered is via ground. If you'd rather not wait for ground shipping, please be sure to select appropriate expedited shipping you desire (as well as tracking if needed) prior to making your purchase.

Buyers outside North America -- We do not offer shipping to Europe at this time due to the high cost of shipping and current customs requirements. If we have something that you would like to purchase, please contact us directly and we will see what we can do for you.

Occasionally, some of our listings will not be allowed into certain countries based on custom restrictions. If we find out during the shipping process that we are unable to ship the item to you because of your country's restrictions, we will refund your order and let you know why we are unable to ship to you.
