FOR SALE ☞ Antique Canadian Pacific Railway brass oil lamp by Piper Co., marked "C.P.R."

DESCRIPTION ☞ A genuine antique brass oil lamp marked C.P.R. for the Canadian Pacific Railway, manufactured by Piper Co. This heavy, pedestal-style lamp would have originally been used on trains or in stations in the early 20th century. The solid brass base is deeply stamped “C.P.R.” and the collar around the burner is marked “PIPER CO.”

It retains its original burner, wick knob, and glass chimney, all showing age-consistent patina. These lamps are increasingly hard to find in complete condition and are prized by collectors of railway memorabilia, industrial décor, or Canadian heritage artifacts.

Seldom found in such complete condition, this solid brass C.P.R. lamp by Piper Co. is a premium piece of Canadian railway heritage and would make a standout display piece for a mantel, bookshelf, or collector’s cabinet.

CONDITION ☞
Good antique condition with honest age-related wear. Brass shows moderate patina and some surface discolouration, especially near the top reservoir. The chimney appears original and is free from cracks or chips. Burner and threading are intact. Base underside shows oxidation from age. Overall, sturdy and displays beautifully. Please see photos.
