DESCRIPTION ☞ An original vintage print attributed to Count Franz von Bayros (1866–1924), Austrian illustrator and icon of the Decadent movement. Known for his sensual and elaborate linework, Bayros created art that danced between fantasy and eroticism, often stirring controversy in his time. This particular work, featuring a reclining nude in a lush Art Nouveau setting, captures the spirit of his provocative and dreamlike style.

This framed edition comes directly from the Carmen Lamanna Gallery in Toronto, one of Canada's most respected contemporary art venues in the mid-20th century. The gallery label remains intact on the reverse, along with a handwritten attribution to Bayros. The piece is professionally double-matted under glass in a period frame, which complements the print’s rich, moody tones and makes it ready for display as a striking statement piece.

CONDITION ☞ Good vintage condition. The print is clean with light age toning and minor foxing. Frame shows modest wear typical for its age with minor edge scuffs and some patina to the surface. Glass is intact. Rear paper backing has visible aging but retains the original Carmen Lamanna Gallery label and a handwritten note identifying the artist. Hanging wire attached and ready to mount.
