DESCRIPTION ☞ A beautiful antique photograph of the Illecillewaet Glacier in the Selkirk Mountains in the Kootenay-Columbia region of British Columbia Canada. This charming antique black and white photo appears to have been taken from the same valley as the location of the now defunct CPR hotel Glacier House near Roger's Pass around the turn of last century (Glacier House was abandoned in 1925 due to unsafe avalanche conditions).

Handwritten at the top in black ink reads "The Glacier (Selkirks)" -- photographer is unknown. The last photo in this listing shows an official image of Glacier House and another view of the glacier and mountains (this photo is NOT for sale in this listing, only used here for reference!)

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT ☞ Approx: L 8 inch H 5 inch

CONDITION ☞ This antique photograph is in good condition. The photo does not have any water damage, rips, tears or repairs. Photo is pasted to backing board and looks like it may have been cut out of a photo album. Please see photos.
