FOR SALE ☞ Antique Wooden Ice Skates with Metal Blades & Leather Strap – Late 1800s - early 1900s Winter Sports Decor

DESCRIPTION ☞ Glide back in time with this pair of antique wooden ice skates, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. These skates feature a sturdy wooden footplate, curved hand-forged metal runners, and an adjustable leather strap with buckle for securing them to boots. Remnants of a sticker with the words "Steeds Vooraan" appear on the center of the wood. Left and Right skates are marked above the number '26'.

Once essential for winter travel and outdoor recreation, these skates now make a fantastic vintage display piece, perfect for rustic decor, cabin aesthetics, or winter sports collectors. The natural aged patina, metal wear, and weathered leather add to their authentic antique charm. A wonderful gift for history lovers or winter enthusiasts!

DIMENSIONS ☞ Approx. 13.5” (L) x 2.5” (W) x 2” (H) (each skate)

CONDITION ☞ These antique skates show age-related wear, including patina on the metal, some wood discolouration, and a worn but intact leather strap. All elements are original, and the skates remain structurally solid. Ideal for display purposes rather than use. Please see photos.
