DESCRIPTION ☞ An electromechanical device frequently used in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, this telegraph sounder was used to receive morse code messages. Stamped on the arm is "JH Bunnell & Co. New York USA". All parts appear to be intact. Previous owner has attached a felt piece to the bottom of the wood to prevent scratching as a display piece.
