FOR SALE ☞ Art Deco Serving Tray with Nude Brass Dancer & Green Hoop

DESCRIPTION ☞ This stunning plate/tray features three distinct butterflies adorning a bright floral pattern with raised decorative edges to complement. A nude brass dancer stands in the middle holding a green hoop made of hard rubber for carrying. Perfect to hold jewelry on your vanity, but we think it was originally used for finger sandwiches or other delights at afternoon tea!

Made by Parrott & Co. in or around 1935 and stamped as such on the bottom along with '1412' and a faded 'X' handwritten in black ink. The brass figure seems to have another manufacturer, with a partial unidentified mark stamped on her leg. 'Made in England' is stamped on the other leg.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT ☞ Dancer is 8.75" tall from base of the plate. Plate is 8.5" in diameter.

CONDITION ☞ Brass has formed a patina, will be up to the new owner if they choose to polish or leave as is. Superficial hairline crack near base of figure on the underside from where the plate was drilled into at the time of manufacture. Please see photos.
