DESCRIPTION ☞
A striking antique candle holder with a tall column design, floral drip plate, and intricate foliate scrollwork on the tripod base. The wide claw-footed legs and openwork details add a dramatic flair, making it perfect for an altar, mantel, or Victorian-inspired décor.

The exact metal composition is unknown — the central shaft and decorative collars resemble aged brass with a rich golden-brown patina, while the heavy base may be cast iron due to its weight and surface texture. Areas of green oxidation are visible, lending the piece authentic vintage character.

The original candle spike remains intact, and the upper collar is decorated with embossed Gothic motifs. This piece likely dates to the late 19th or early 20th century and would suit collectors of antique ecclesiastical or architectural decor, or anyone looking to add a moody historical accent to their space.
