Vintage Crystal Compote on Cherub Bronze Base with Prism Drops – Art Deco Cut Glass Pedestal Bowl

FOR SALE ☞ Vintage crystal compote on ornate bronze cherub base with crystal prisms

DESCRIPTION ☞ A dazzling and ornate vintage crystal compote dish perched atop a gilded bronze pedestal base featuring three cherubs in high relief. The intricate base is mounted on a square black marble platform, trimmed with a decorative pierced brass edging. Dangling around the cherub cluster are large faceted crystal prisms, which catch the light beautifully and add an extra touch of old-world charm.

The bowl itself is a deeply cut glass design in the ABP (American Brilliant Period) style, showcasing starburst and diamond patterns with a richly textured motif. The edge of the bowl is scalloped and crisp, and a floral metal fitting at the center secures it to the base. This piece would serve beautifully as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, or purely decorative accent in an Art Nouveau, Rococo Revival, or Victorian-inspired setting.

CONDITION ☞
Very good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear. Crystal bowl is free from chips or cracks upon inspection. Some patina and finish wear on the bronze and metal trim, consistent with age. A few prisms may have minor flea bites but nothing distracting. Displays beautifully. Please see photos.
