DESCRIPTION ☞
Original Kodak No. 1A Autographic Junior Model A, made by Eastman Kodak of Rochester, NY, and manufactured between 1914 and 1927. This is the first version in the Junior Autographic series, with a U.S. patent date of 1920 and Canadian date of 1915. The serial number 732641 appears on the kickstand, confirming its early production.

Features a meniscus achromatic lens with a Kodak Ball Bearing Shutter offering T, B, 1/25s, 1/50s, and 1/100s speeds. The autographic door opens and closes properly but is missing the stylus. The camera still opens and folds smoothly, making it ideal for display or restoration.

A fantastic piece of early 20th-century photographic history. Whether you’re a collector, antique décor lover, or vintage camera buff, this piece offers both form and function.

CONDITION ☞
Vintage condition with wear consistent with age. Leather shows surface wear and would benefit from a gentle clean and oil. Bellows in fair shape with expected signs of use. Red plastic window is broken but easily replaced. Shutter appears functional. Stylus is missing. Please note: this camera uses 116 film, which is no longer produced (though creative conversions are possible!). Case latch works well. Strap leather has come apart from one end of the bag. Fabric lining has come away from the leather on the strap. Sold untested, as a collectible.
