FOR SALE ☞ 18th Century German Westerwald Salt Glazed Cobalt Stoneware Beer Stein with Pewter lid

DESCRIPTION ☞ This outstanding example of German salt glazed stoneware from the 1700's really catches the eye. The jug is stoneware grey, with a rich, hand painted cobalt blue checker pattern. It appears a fingerprint has been forever captured in one of the blue checkers. Stein can hold approximately 1 liter.

DIMENSIONS ☞ Approx 10 inches tall and 7 inches wide if you include the handle.

CONDITION ☞ This stoneware jug is in fantastic condition for it's age! A few minor scuffs from wear and age. No major chips, cracks or repairs. The pewter lid shows nice patina with no scratches or dents. Please see photos. Color may differ slightly in real life from how it appears on your screen due to varying monitor settings.
