FOR SALE ☞ 1922 Canadian Pacific Rail and Passenger Ship Schedule Brochure and Map

DESCRIPTION ☞ A very rare example of an early 1920's Canadian Pacific Rail and Passenger ship schedule, map and information brochure. The outside of the brochure is yellow and features the classic CPR beaver logo. When the brochure is opened, it features on the first side of the fold out a list of the different ships operated by CPR and their sailing schedules. The reverse of the first fold out has different rail schedules. When the brochure is opened up and totally exposed, some advertising is present as well as the reverse showing a full color map of the CPR's rail network throughout North America. The date 1922 is depicted on the brochure as well as black and white photos of several ships. A great example of antique Canadiana ephemera!

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT ☞ Approximately 9 inches in length folded up. Unfolded, the entire brochure is well over a foot.

CONDITION ☞ This brochure, map and information guide does show signs of use and wear consistent with its age and application. It is still holding together but it does have the beginnings of some separation where the first fold out begins as well as some little knicks along the leading edge. The cover has a small corner missing from it, but aside from that missing piece, the pamphlet is complete. The pamphlet still unfolds nicely to expose the advertising and the color map. All the colors are not faded, as well as the text written throughout is still crisp and easy to read.
