DESCRIPTION ☞ A framed plate by artist Robert J. Banks of the Canadian Corvette class warship, HMCS Sackville. The Sackville is Canada's oldest surviving warship. It was built in 1940 and launched in 1941 and now resides in Nova Scotia Canada as a museum.

This ship fought in the battle of the Atlantic during the Second world war and then has some time as a civilian service research vessel afterwards. This rendition of the Sackville was done in 1985 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Navy.

This plate is numbered 3147 of only 5000 ever made. This plate has a brown wooden shadow box style frame around it with the back of the plate exposed to show the back of the plates details. On the front side of the frame is a gold information placard that states HMC Sackville 1943 and the artist's name, Robert Banks. Plate is mounted in a wooden frame behind glass.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT ☞ Approx: L 12 inch H 12 inch

CONDITION ☞ This framed collector plate is in excellent condition. The plate shows no signs of wear, use or repairs. The frame shows some very minor signs of rubbing at the bottom near the gold placard from being stacked or transported at some time but it requires a fine eye to notice it. The rubbing however has not removed the paint of the wood. Please see photos. Color may differ slightly in real life from how it appears on your screen due to varying monitor settings.
