FOR SALE ☞ Universal 1927 Prohibition Art Deco Style Glass Flask

DESCRIPTION ☞ A glass flask made by Universal in the 1920's with a diagonal pattern that creates an optical illusion cross-hatch when looked at in a certain angle. This thick glass flask has its original silver colored lid with cork at the bottom of the lid for sealing. The bottom of the flask has embossed in the glass, UNIVERSAL PAT'D FEB 8 1927

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT ☞ Approx: L 3.5 Inch H 5.5 inch W 1.5 inch

CONDITION ☞ This prohibition era flask is in excellent condition. The glass has no chips, cracks or repairs. The glass is not cloudy and shows its original pattern well. The cork in the lid is still in decent shape for being almost 100 years old. It has not not dried out or fallen apart, however some of it is stuck on the lip of the glass, likely adhered by whatever spirits were originally stored in the flask. Some evidence of the flask storing spirits is present. We do not however believe that the glass has been permanently stained. Please see photos.
