1930's Light-Up Noma Christmas Tree Stand Working!

FOR SALE ☞ 1930's Working Light-Up Noma Christmas Tree Stand

DESCRIPTION ☞ Introduced in 1935, this is a working, all original, light-up Noma Christmas tree stand. Metal and well built Christmas tree stand has a buttercream color base with yellow trim and red painted on the tips of the legs. As well, several Christmas themed characters are portrayed around the barrel of the stand. The functioning screws that secure the tree are also painted red. 9 original period multi colored lights are also situated around the base. A box of 4 original replacement bulbs will be included.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT ☞ Approx: * Diameter of the barrel is 5 inch around and 5.5 inches deep. From leg to leg is approximately 25 inches. Exact dimensions available upon request!

CONDITION ☞ The condition of the Christmas tree stand is fair/good. Structurally, it is in excellent shape. All of the screws for securing the tree are functioning, moving and free. All of the sockets on the base are working as well as the lights within in them. Wiring is original and to 1930s standards.

The stand shows signs of use and wear. It has some missing paint and little spots with scratches or scuffs on the paint throughout. All of it is minor however and is very consistent with something of this age and application.

The barrel of the tree stand where the tree goes in does have some surface rust, from many many years of holding Christmas trees and having water added. The rusting is only minor rust and has not eaten away at the metal. We would suggest some sort of plastic liner like a plastic plant pot or plastic yogurt container inside the barrel to keep the water from touching the metal.
